Victory for FISE

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Current and Former Bargaining Unit Members;

It is my great pleasure to inform you about a major victory that FISE has won for our local.

With the assistance of Mr. Michael J. Snider, Esq. and his law firm (www.sniderlaw.com), advocates of workers’ rights, FISE has settled Overtime grievances we filed against BIA, BIE and OST. Our case with ASIA remains pending. The Grievances were filed because the Agency inappropriately treated many positions as exempt (from the FLSA) and the Agency was not properly paying non-exempt employees for their overtime.  Through many years if hard work, the Grievances were eventually settled.

Many of our bargaining unit members employed between May 29, 2005 and August 29, 2011 will benefit from the financial settlement.

The funds will be distributed by the Class Action Implementation Group (CAIG), an independent organization that specializes in administering financial settlements.

To begin the verification & payment process, please send CAIG an email at “info@caig.co” with the below listed information ASAP.
